The Cannon ball tree

The Cannon ball tree locally known as the Sal tree is quite unusual as well as holy for the Buddhist unusual since all the branches originate from the central bark the branches are twig like (no large branches)  it has Large bulbs  or fruits not  edible resembling a cannon ball the flowers are extremely fragrant with a sweet smelling.A very holy tree for Buddhist since it refers to Buddha's  enlightenment.
